Apple iPad Development
The Apple iPad captured the imagination of the world before it was even known to be a real product. Steve Jobs' announcement of the iPad in January this year made this "magical and revolutionary product" (at an unbelievable price) real and galvanized our excitement. Being iPhone app developers already, with a number of iPhone apps under our belts, we immediately downloaded the iPad SDK and started working on some new iPad apps: both brand new apps and expansions of our existing iPhone applications. We've been very excited so far.
We always try to be ahead of the curve on new technologies and the iPad is no exception. We're already leveraging our iPhone development knowledge for new apps that work in the larger form factor that the iPad brings. That has opened new opportunities for user experiences, many of which will feel "very familiar" to new tablet users, even though they never existed before. New screen controls that are built into the iPad SDK are every bit as compelling and fresh as the original iPhone seemed a few years ago. By the time the iPad hits the streets, we plan on having a number of iPad apps ready.
We think the iPad will bring a small revolution to the branding abilities of small and large companies. The iPad will feel as familiar as a book, but offer interactive qualities and "stickiness" far beyond that of web apps and iPhone apps. Having a bigger screen offers all kinds of new ways to magnify a brand's message, without taking away from the user's experience. Having the iPad as a "go to" device that's more usable than the iPhone will make it a staple of day to day work and leisure for a very large audience.
We're now accepting proposals for new iPad projects. Feel free to contact us to discuss your project.
