ColdFusion Development

ColdFusion is a commercial rapid application development platform created originally by Allaire in 1995 to make it easier to create databased driven web sites. It eventually became a full platform that included an IDE (Integrated Development Environment) and a full scripting language, both of which accelerated the web development process and allowed sites to be developed more quickly and cost-effectively. Current versions of ColdFusion, sold by Adobe Systems, include advanced features for enterprise integration and development of rich internet applications.

iHwy started using ColdFusion in 1997, quickly adopting it to build large, enterprise-grade web applications. Since then we have used it almost daily. Our ColdFusion skills are cutting edge, with a solid background in where ColdFusion came from. We're as comfortable creating new, large ColdFusion applications with ColdFusion 8 and 9 as we are enhancing and managing older ColdFusion systems built with ColdFusion versions 3 and up.

We know that there are a lot of older ColdFusion systems working well that can use some great enhancements, fine tuning, visual updating or overhauls to make them more manageable. We also know ColdFusion is a rock solid solution for modern web applications, leveraging the latest AJAX, javascript and jQuery techniques for the front end and powerful ColdFusion web services for the back end.
